I want it to be possible for no deaths at all if you have what is required...*Begs Bioware*. Out of curiosity, I've been wondering what it would be like if Shepard -could- live and (choose blue)... well at least from there the galaxy would know how to rebuild the mass relays... :/
Lol I've been on Bioware's forums about everyday... And their front page... I feel bad for Bioware because of all the rude people, immediately saying they're greedy now. I don't believe it and never will until it would actually seem obvious. Bioware is amazing and they would never start that. Bioware will be updating us soon about DLC and whatnot.
After all that time playing the games and buying the DLCs we deserved a happy ending. I'm not saying I want a cheesy Disney ending…but I think with all of Bioware's talented writers they could have come up with something better for at least one of the endings.
I agree :/. I don’t think I've ever been this upset about a video game before. Shepard deserved a happy ending after all the crap he/she has been through. It's so depressing. We can't give up though… fans must continue to protest for DLC endings. This is just absurd.
Seriously. Don't know if you played the other games, but I did. 9 times. So how many hours is that? 540ish? Plus other time spent messing in them, plus time with fanart and fanfics etc. And you're telling all my Sheps are gonna die, just in a different colored explosion? And no, Shep breathing in a stinger doesn't make it okay. Bioware......
Thing main thing I don't like about the endings is that one choice was to destroy all synthetics (including the geth that I had been advocating for since ME2 and EDI, who I had been trying to teach about individuality).... And the other was to follow in the Illusive Man's steps and become all powerful over the reapers.... So either way you're going against Shepard's core beliefs.
Free DLC fixing the ending would make my opinion of the game (and Bioware) SO much higher.
I thought Shepards last charge towards the light/Citadel/transportation thingy was epic, but once we got on the Citadel... things started to get trippy.
If Bioware wanted to give us some good final choices, I would've been happy to just decide the fate of Earth, humans or some other species rather than destroying the Mass Relays, therefor (mass) effecting the ENTIRE GALAXY FOREVER. :/
They even hang several lampshades (the whole conversation between Shepard, Anderson and later Shepard/Ghost Brat is a series of lampshade hangings) on the whole thing.
But my Paragon SheepLoo would say the following,"F@#! YOU! I AM NOT GOING TO DESTROY THE VERY THING TRILLIONS OF GENERATIONS FOR MILLIONS OF YEARS HAVE TRIED TO SAVE! YOU GOT ME! YOU REJECT FROM A BAD HOLLYWOOD SCRIPT DOCTORS NIGHTMARE!"
Its kind of amazing how many fans they've managed to piss off. Bioware better realize that it would be in their best interests to release a DLC with better endings. A lot of broken fans (including myself) would pay well for our well-earned happy endings.
I've just replayed ME3 with all the imports that I had chosen for Matthew Shepard (love interest included Tali) and I think I've just picked up on a few clues that after Harbinger's beam attack during the charge, Shepard could have possibly been halucating or going through some sort of indoctrination attempt by Harbinger to sway Shepard from his resolve to destroy the Reapers. Here are some clues I've picked up on...
1. The fact that Harbinger magically leaves the field after blowing up the charging forces and Shepard with his laser. You would think he would go in personally to finish the job on Shepard.
2. You have a gun that MYSTERIOUSLY has unlimited ammo and never seems to run out.
3. How the hell can Shepard survive in space when he supposively meets the "Catalyst" in space WIHOUT suit or helmet? You would think he would die the same way in ME2 with the loss of oxygen.
4. When you choose Destroy along with getting the greatist ammount of War assessts, especially to whatever the max ammount you can have is, at the end you are treated to a scene where shepard is alive in a pile of rubble, not just any rubble but concrete!!! The Citadel isn't made of that kind of stuff i believe, high tect steel and what not, which proves to me that Shepard is waking up back on Earth from whatever he exprienced.
I could be very wrong about this, but it feels like this was done intentionally in order to avoid people from pirating the real endings which might be released as dlc (maybe) later on in the future. There are others who believe in this as well, but i'll wait to see how things turn out. Who knows? Maybe i'm right, maybe i'm totally wrong.
